Meanwhile, in Canada, there isn't an egg shortage, and a dozen eggs cost about $2.90 USD. Yes, we have Avian Flu. However, our egg farms are limited to a maximum of 25 thousand hens. In the USA, the average is 2 million hens. When an entire farm has to be euthanized, we can absorb the loss.

REPORT all these posts. These people are unwell.
Why not violent? What is the point? As if all protest, all words for the past years helped to prevent greedy fascists to take over it is time to consider another approach. You are not Ghandi, this is America and the evil people have taken controll. A criminal is in the White House. Restore democracy

What does “ I don’t know what” mean?

These guys are seriously angry.
If every single democratic senator doesn't vote against RFK Jr., I don't know what.

VOTE NO. ALL OF YOU.

As a general rule, under NO circumstance EVER, should you surround yourself with people who commit you to “pain for years.”

Click-bait alarmists are NOT looking out for your best interests. They are scaring you for social media engagement.

This guy is particularly disgraceful in this regard.

You SHOULD care about the TikTok ban, actually

TikTok could be banned in the United States within the next week.

This is bad for all of us -- even if you don't care about TikTok.

Let me explain why.

Friends, if you take in a stray animal, PLEASE have it scanned for a chip. This is the third time in a week that someone has come into the shelter with an animal that was 'theirs' that was actually chipped and registered to someone else who had been desperately missing that animal for YEARS.

Marsrise (and moonrise) from LA, with a jet flying by for bonus points. The lunar occultation of Mars will be happening in just minutes. I’ll watch it with binoculars, but don’t need to take pics, as it won’t be as pretty as when they were closer to the horizon.

I reported and blocked three blatant Russian trolls posing as angry American “former Democrats” blaming Ukraine for the fires or similar. They have deployed on Bluesky. Look for them with no profile pic, almost nothing but reply posts, and the same crappy Russian cartoons. Report, block, hide.

2. To illustrate how serious this designation is, according to The New York Times, the National Weather Service has only issued this designation for the LA area a total of five times…in history.

The last time was early last week, before the Palisades and Eaton fires.

1. IMPORTANT.

The National Weather Service says that the winds in the LA area from Tuesday through Wednesday necessitate a designation of a “Particularly Dangerous Situation.”

This is a very specific designation the NWS uses for weather events that pose a serious threat to life and property.
