My first surgery in 1956. The BTT Shunt or Blue Baby Surgery.My parents were told I had a 50/50 chance of survival. Me, beating the odds for nearly 70 years. It is still being used today only using a Gortex vessel for the shunt. #chdawareness #heartmonth
