Haven’t seen any mentions about it yet, but the Hetch Hetchy water pipeline and powerlines run under and across Don Pedro right between the active 6-2 and 6-5 fires. The Foothills Tunnel has a siphon on the west bank and delivers 165 M/gal/day to SF Bay Area (85% of water supply for 2.8M people).

There was a revision commission that edited the Constitution down in the '60s/70s, but California actually did a totally reboot back in 1879 and that made it a lot more racist (e.g. removing Spanish as an official language, anti-Chinese laws, etc) in addition to the proposition mess.
