I thought San Francisco planning was so dysfunctional they hadn't completed a new general plan since the '70s?

Looks like it's changed a bit in the last couple years: bsky.app/profile/sand...
Today, the kids told me about a new "aggressive" version of "Mary Had A Little Lamb" that seems to be circulating in their elementary school:

🎵 Mary had a little lamb,
Click-click BAM, no more lamb.

Hashtag no more lamb. 🎵

There was a good thread here a few months ago about their "transportation plan": bsky.app/profile/obch...
Looks like they're gunning to triple the size of the highway, going from 2 to 6 lanes

I thought so too, but Ohlone is in the Penutian language family and the 13 area crosses under the red shading where the Ohlone lived. California definitely feels like a mess though, especially if this is supposed to be 1776 where the Missions were less than a decade old.

Genentech is mostly south of the hill. Our city has a pretty good online zoning map you can see their site-specific plan on: zoning.ssf.net

There are ferries to Oyster Point and SamTrans finally extended the 130 to it. Genentech has dedicated buses to Glen Park BART too. The Bay Trail runs around it, but lacks good connections across 101; this is something advocates have been pushing for years though so hopefully soon.

Oyster Point is a large hill with the Wind Harp near the top, but Genentech has a good location on it too. Genentech has a TDM plan with trip caps so I imagine this redesign is partly to help limit people driving their car in just so they can take meetings in different parts of the campus.

I feel like we're going to find out Epstein was the first person to mention Obama's birth certificate to Trump before this is all done.

You don't need to make things up just because you don't know where the MSP airport is.

Yeah, I'm fascinated by how there's been an explosion in these frameworks recently (that didn't even exist as a concept a year ago). It will be interesting to see where this all ends up. bsky.app/profile/dana...
