If you actually thought this was fascism you’d be doing something right now.

Be honest with yourself and the people around you.

Any movement that wastes time trying to trick people into communism will be weak. It will be conspiratorial from the start and will fall apart quickly. It is so annoying to have to even argue about this. It needs to be the peoples will and it can’t be a trick.

I’m becoming more suspicious of the idea that any dumbass should be able to occupy the highest seats of politics in this nation.

China’s got it figured out dawg. And you can still vote over there too, but if you suck at your job, you lose your position. The way it should be
HASSAN: What is habeas corpus?

NOEM: Habeas corpus is a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country

HASSAN: That's incorrect

Getting really tired of when people say “The right’s job is easier than the left’s job”

And? That didn’t stop communists in the past. What are you whining about? Communists aspired to win (and in some countries they did). They didn’t use silly platitudes to justify their own incompetence.

The conflict between the main factions of America’s political system (Democrats and Republicans) is intensifying.

Are communists going to fold and pick a faction, or are we going to take advantage of the situation and gain some political influence for once?

Nuclear powers being reckless has been the theme of this decade, with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, America deliberately provoking China, and now India and Pakistan at each other’s throats.

And everyone’s talking about…the pope? Really?

I feel like it used to be a point of pride on the left to be extremely well read and informed on international and domestic affairs. Doesn’t mean they always came to univocal conclusions or even good conclusions, but a lot of intellectual work was being exercised that just isn’t anymore.

Initially I hated centrists as I felt (still do!) that the UK Cult of Sensibles has enshrined a lot of truly bad ideas as requirements of being taken seriously in politics, to general ill effect. But as I spent more time Discoursing I realised the online left are also incredibly annoying and inane.

in part an Internet thing. Like very few offline social spaces select for pointless hostility and disagreeableness as branding as well as micro blogging sites do online

The end result of making literally everything political was the trivialization of politics. People are also tired and just want an escape from being scolded on some mundane decision they made.

It’s all been so unproductive and now we’re all just shouting on Twitter instead of doing anything useful
