This is real. Our govt is Tweeting like a 14 year old and calling Americans imbecilic morons. We worry about children being bullied but this is the example set by the U.S. GOVERNMENT. This is so shameful. I’m embarrassed for any of you that think this is okay or make excuses for it.

ICE detained a veteran and U.S. citizen for three days.
They didn’t let him contact his family or a lawyer. They didn’t let him change or shower. They didn’t give him a reason for his detention.

The Trump administration has released a three-time felon and five-time deported immigrant because he's going to testify against zero-time felon Abrego - all to cover their tracks for mistakenly and illegally sending Abrego to El Salvador and then lying about it to the court to cover it up.
The Trump admin has freed Jose Hernandez Reyes because he can testify against Abrego Garcia.
Hernandez, who has been deported 5 times, has also been arrested for:
—DUI w/ a handgun;
—cocaine possession;
—illegally transporting migrants; and
—drunkenly firing a gun.

I can’t speak for every city, but here in LA, ICE bounty hunters aren’t going after gang members. They’re hunting the vulnerable: gardeners, street vendors, day laborers.
Easy money, no risk.

Marco Rubio needs to be asked whether he believes his grandfather who remained in the U.S. after receiving a deportation order from our govt should have been treated the way the father of 3 Marines was treated by ICE this weekend in California.

A traffic stop is causing outrage, after a young man born and raised on Long Island was pulled over and searched by ICE agents. He said it was simply because he’s Latino. This is how patronage systems work in totalitarian transition. Claw back all resources and then (in showy performances of beneficence) bestow them selectively to supplicants now in your debt. What once were public services become private favors.
Lots of people seem to think this is bad for red states too but I’m not so sure. Trump says he wants to personally make the disaster relief decisions. He’ll help his cronies and punish those who won’t kiss his ass. That’s life under mob-style governance.

This story exemplifies the reason people are outraged at ICE.
This guy did nothing wrong. He broke not a single law. He was a guard at a base that housed US troops. He came here legally through humanitarian parole. He had an asylum application pending. Yet the Trump admin had ICE grab him anyway.

I'm struggling to get over what we saw today.
The amount of gaslighting, cruelty, ignorance, abject cowardice, arrogance, indifference to human life, and deceit we saw from Trump and Vance...we saw behavior we associate with enemies of the United States inside the Oval Office.
That's traumatizing.
