Trump should not just be impeached—he must be prosecuted by the International Criminal Court! With Trump, if there is no punishment for his crimes, he will commit even more. That is why we must demand Trump be prosecuted at The Hague. My article deanobeidallah.substack.com/p/trump-shou...

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Trump isn't merely stupid.

He sincerely believes if he has the power to take something from you by force, and you have it, then you are wrong to have it, and he is right to take it.

Every aspect of his life, every decision, every idolized dictator proves this is his rule.

Not stupid. Evil.

We will either end fossil fuel dependency and the predatory extractivist basis of global production, or they will end us through wars and ecological collapse - all at the same time.

Marco Rubio says Maduro will face justice in U.S. courts.

So in other words, foreign presidents can be held accountable for crimes in our country.

But our own presidents cannot.

Congress needs to call an emergency session about immediate impeachment and removal of Donald J. Trump. Invading a foreign nation and capturing its president is a clear violation of the Constitution.

So it’s ok for a country to invade another country and kidnap its president? I hope that the rest of the world is paying attention. I have a president . . .

Whatever happens now, we absolutely cannot allow Trump's refusal to seek Congressional authorization for what appears to be a large scale military attack on another country vanish from the media discussion, which already appears to be happening.

So how long until he attacks another country when the rest of the world fails to step up and demand he be impeached this time?

If the House Republicans had any guts, they'd hold an emergency impeachment vote on Trump today.
If the Senate Republicans had any guts, they'd convict Trump of violating the Constitution tomorrow.
The Constitution means nothing it if it can be ignored with impunity.

The appropriate Democratic response is that the president is out of control.

You don’t need to repeat his Maduro talking points. Stop being pussies.

#GVerse Jack Smith says that he does not understand why #Shit4Brains would pardon people who assaulted law enforcement.

He says the people who defended the Capitol that day are heroes.

I say his gently, but…

There’s something unspeakably shameful The United States letting people go hungry.

Not because its government doesn’t fix it —

but because tomorrow a few private Americans could, and never notice the cost.

That’s the part that sits wrong.

One of the few silver linings that have come from this harsh year of deportations and ICE raids is that it has clarified which people and institutions will use their voices to push back and which will choose accommodation.
