Sending this from the bathroom I used to lock myself up in to avoid everyone
it gets notably quieter on here around the holidays which is a shame bc I would love to see how people post from their parents' house as their regressed 17-year-old self

Having a coffee in my hometown café, happen to sit next to an old professor of mine as he is grading papers on burial practices and laughing to myself remembering how incredibly last minute I handed in that exact same paper

There's still a part of me that wants to do a pop-punk album where I have a song dedicated to Alex Trebek, and one dedicated to Bob McDonald.

Here’s a fun, seasonally appropriate cover of a lesser known Chuck Berry tune by the fabulous Groovie Ghoulies (who have many great cover songs).
Happy Halloween!

Why aren't people consistent with sediment descriptions, and why does this particular thing drive me insane

Baby teeth were too stubborn to fall out, so I had most of them (12? 13?) pulled. Also had a stubborn canine tooth that would not descend, so I spent a few years as a teen with a big gap. Had surgery to basically pull it down into place.

My teeth are too big for my mouth, causing TMJ issues.
Ok query time. Biology is messy and full of exceptions. How does *your* body differ from the usual expected of you as the human you are? Anything big or small.

My mum has an extra vertebrae, a close friend multiple spleens. One sis is built like she works out but eats like a sparrow.

Historical Archaeologists:

Does anyone have any resources regarding perfume/cologne/fragrance glass bottles? General info/seriation types/ so forth is good. Google is proving to be un helpful.

Im certain (like 80%) that a perfume bottle that came through my lab can't be older than 1940
