Who has been centering and glorifying violence with imagery and threats???
For everyone saying political violence has no place in this country…

Remember two Democratic legislators were shot in Minnesota just this year.

And America shrugged and moved on.

I’ve seen so many people spreading the misinformation that PBS is shut down or is shutting down.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has been shut down and PBS has been defunded.

HOWEVER!!! PBS still exists. It is more important now than ever that you donate to PBS if you can.

This is the way. Call them tf out on their b.s.
The NYT with a trifecta of bullshit today:

1) equivocating on vaccines to puff up RFK

2) blaming NYC mass shooting on the proposed policies of a guy who's not the mayor, rather than the omni-cop mayor

3) blaming kids dying to a genocide as dying from 'preexisting conditions'

The worst thing about this Epstein thing right now is that it’s a political story instead of a crime story in which one of perpetrators of said crime is in absolutely no danger of being held to account for his crimes, except *maybe* politically.

Twenty years ago, the Abu Ghraib torture revelation was a news cycle-dominating scandal.

Today it's a daily occurrence that barely gets coverage.

It is shameful how far this country's moral standard has fallen.

NPR had a quick, upbeat mention about how farmwork could function as healthcare with people "prescribed" to do it and it feels maddening that a significant swath of elite opinion seems to be trying to soft relaunch serfdom.

I’m so happy that Mamdani has won the Democratic primary in NYC. BUT what happens now is that Cuomo can run against him as independent with a LOT of big money behind him, and he can still win and become mayor of New York. We saw this happen in Buffalo against India Walton a few years ago.
