My personal favourite as a tuberculosis researcher, from this list has to be Lungnaslettir who beat children with wet lungs; some said his own lungs hung outside of his body. Gleðileg jól!

In June I graduated from the University of Iceland with a teaching diploma and license. Diploma students are not invited to walk at graduation so I dressed up, brought my own flowers, and took timed selfies. Ég er með fimm háskólagráður.

Momentous day.
Also I don’t know how I would have made it into work today without this bike. I woke in the night and though I fell asleep again, I’m a zombie. It would certainly be unsafe for me to drive and at least my 🚲 route is easy and keeps the wind in my face.
