Our society is so obviously uneducated and unaware of the techniques of actual succesful grassroots movements. Look at the reaction even basic peaceful protest gets.

A German citizen was arrested by ICE while visiting US from a vacation in Mexico to meet a fellow tattoo artist. They claimed she was there to work illegally and threw her in solitary for 8 days. She's been in custody for a month now. Visiting the US atm is incredibly dangerous under any conditions
I think I join the rest of the comics community in hoping this gets sorted out as soon as possible. Absolutely sickening.

I’ve always know Jon was a liberal but it’s wild to see him arguing “Trump isn’t fascist because he was democratically elected” when the first thing you learn about Hitler’s rise to power is that he was democratically elected.

He's flat out siding with Trump and engaging in an apology tour while normalizing what Trump is doing. Disregarding illegally firing 13 AGs because it's a funny sounding name and no one REALLY knows what they do. Combined with disregarding elons nazi salute, he's shown what he's actually OK with.

Everyone really needs to be watching Invincible Fight Girl. It hits on every level and it would be a crime if it didn't get a second season, especially since the first ended in a way that makes it clear the story is just beginning.

Common Side Effects looks so good. And a show directly criticizing the pharmaceutical industry and portraying CEO and execs in that industry as stupid parasites feels... topical.

I think A Christmas Carol is my favorite Christmas story because it's the only one that goes "hey, being ultra wealthy kinda goes counter to the meaning of Christmas and they need to either inherently change and give up their wealth, or their deaths will be celebrated." Feels... seasonal

Congress has passed the NDAA, which contained a provision banning the coverage of gender affirming care for the children of active duty military.
This is the first anti-LGBTQ bill to pass congress in almost 3 decades but certainly won't be the last.
