DISASTROUS. This means they will send people to horrific situations with no due process — in direct violation of promises the Solicitor General made to the Court in previous cases.

This greenlights sending people to be enslaved in Libya or tortured in any random foreign country.
#BREAKING: Over a (sharp) public dissent from the three Democratic appointees, #SCOTUS clears the way for the Trump administration to remove migrants to third countries *without* giving them an additional opportunity to contest whether they face persecution or other forms of mistreatment there:

I once interviewed a young man who survived Sednaya prison for a human rights fact-finding report and I will never ever forget about the horrors he shared and somehow survived.
DAMASCUS:

1000s of prisoners have been freed from Sednaya prison, now flooding the streets, an monumental moment.

For many, the frantic search begins, desperate to know if their loved ones are among the living or the lost.

Either way, the "human slaughterhouse" is no more.

If your plan to counter antisemitism actually advances the very same antisemitic conspiracy theories that have repeatedly fueled antisemitic mass violence — including the deadliest attack on Jews in U.S. history — it’s not a plan to counter antisemitism.
SCOOP: The Heritage Foundation’s 'Project Esther,' a conservative plan to counter antisemitism, sees the problem as one in which a handful of “masterminds” including Jews like George Soros are seeking to “dismantle Western democracies, values and culture,” according to internal Heritage documents.
Scoop: Internal Project Esther documents describe conspiracy of Jewish ‘masterminds’ seeking to dismantle Western values
A presentation meant to win supporters for the Heritage Foundation’s plan to fight antisemitism draws a line from George Soros to pro-Palestinian protests.

The state of media for Americans is so completely broken
I want to watch TV coverage of the live fall of the Syrian regime.

CNN is airing a Giuliani documentary, Fox News has a comedian joking about Canada, MSNBC a documentary about migrants

So I turned on BBC,which is breathlessly switching between Syria, South Korea demonstrations, and Ghana election

I really hope that the outcome of a #SCOTUS case doesn't turn on whether Tristram Shandy has explicit descriptions of sex and whether Thomas Jefferson owned a copy of Fanny Hill.

The only way to take on the industrial-grade climate disinformation machine is with a swift, coordinated approach.

Glad to learn of the launch of this information integrity initiative and see it join the fight to dismantle fossil fuel-funded lies.
