When you're younger, you never think that one day you will be having a discussion over texts with your brother about the best incontinence diapers for your mother. Then you hit your mid-50s, and all bets are off. #dementia

This skeet did not age well. (I've been dying to write that!)
Two minute call. Two minutes before a brand new episode of Have I Got News For You. SPOILER ALERT: The Blue Jays win Game 7 so you don't have to watch.

I don't think I've seen a better advertisement for class 3 e-bikes. It sucks that this is where we are as a country, but if I needed to get away from a bunch of goons I'd want something that will get 0-25 mph in a few seconds.

Case in point. Honestly, the jokes write themselves sometimes.

My grill buddy is back. The donut and muscle shirt come off tomorrow… he’s recovering from having a huge tumor removed from his underside. He still acts like nothing happened.

I think what frustrates me so much is that many smart people I trust say that AI might someday be a helpful tool within specific parameters but 90% of the LLM messaging is like: THIS WILL REPLACE EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!
I mean I guess the advantage to this is that I won’t have to have a difficult conversation with my AI employees after they make a bunch of bullshit up and my company goes out of business?

The AI I need: when I'm at Costco it tells me "You already have 12 rolls of toilet paper in the garage. Don't buy any more."

I do appreciate the company even though he can’t do much to help with grilling.

United’s latest safety video for the 787 Dreamliner with the blue ball rolling down a marble run is a masterpiece. I don’t think I’ve ever paid that close attention to a safety video before.

Something major is happening in London (probably a Gaza demonstration). Westminster square is packed, and our bus has been diverted to South London.

I've noticed a bad pattern in myself of being interested in a musician's work once I hear they died. This week it's Chuck Mangione. We've all heard "Feels So Good", but I forgot how good "Give It All You Got" is as well. They all remind you of the late 70s but they don't sound dated, either.

We need better EV apps than ABRP. So much potential there, but sooo buggy and a mess to use.
