We hit hard freeze criteria in a lot of northern Wisconsin, effectively bringing an end to the growing season up there.

A hard freeze is defined as when the temperature gets down to 28°F or lower for at least an hour.

A Freeze Watch has just been issued for northeastern Wisconsin, for the possibility of temperatures in the upper-20s to lower-30s Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

It would not be surprising to see this get expanded across most of the rest of northern Wisconsin.

In Grantsburg, it's only 39° right now - 37 degrees lower than yesterday's high of 76°!
