Everyone wants there to be a grand scheme behind all of this but the terrible truth is that extremely stupid people are in charge and they have a fanatical devotion to wrong, childlike concepts of society and economics cooked up by right wing radio hosts in order to sell tainted dietary supplements

The biggest reason why I dislike the idea of respectability in dress is because it conflates the *appearance* of virtue with *actual* virtue. Wearing a suit doesn't make you respectful, intelligent, or capable, just as wearing a leather jacket doesn't make you rugged.

People have told us that they don't mind if an answer is misleading, so long as it's fast. To our minds, this is a *wild* perspective to have.

It's born of an attitude that views history primarily as entertainment, that it's about learning fun "facts" rather than actually understanding the past.
