Israel (& the west) keeps deploying this tactic: insist on a 'ceasefire' with Palestinians making huge concessions, then carry on the killing regardless.

This short thread shows the same thing happening today, 3 months ago, 7 months ago and 8 months ago... 🧵

Here I am in 2020 in the flimsiest, most pitful PPE - like so many other NHS staff, some of whom died from the Covid they caught in their hospitals.

Tory peer Michelle Mone - who today lost her legal case & must repay the govt £122m - dares to claim she’s been ‘scapegoated’.

What, Michelle? 🧵

Nearly 1,000 business leaders are calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza. Business as usual can’t mean turning a blind eye to ethnic cleansing. Our government needs to do 2 things in order to defend international law - impose total trade sanctions and a weapons sale ban.

They told journalists the air drops would be cancelled if they broadcast any footage of the destruction below.

A rogue state trying to hide its genocide. Israel won’t ever come back from all this.

We’ve turned their street into Jabaliya camp in Gaza. A genocide is happening, but the Labour government is supplying weapons, intelligence and diplomatic cover to the perpetrator. Protesting this is not terrorism.

🇵🇸 Did you know?
Before 1948, Palestine was a thriving land with schools, farms, and cinemas.
It was not empty.
Families lived, laughed, loved , until
Then came mass expulsions.
Families were killed in public executions.
This wasn’t a war.
It was ethnic cleansing,a mass erasure of a people.
