Pritzker: "It's unconscionable. This has never happened before. They're calling out troops onto the streets of a state that doesn't want them and they're not even telling us where they're gonna go, what they're gonna do. This hasn't happened I don't think since the Civil War."

Everyone can set aside partisanship, psychologizing, pathologizing, whatever, and—I would hope—still see that it’s incredibly dangerous for a political leader to be this disconnected from the real conditions in the country.

Trump: "I don't know what could be worse than Portland. You don't even have stores anymore. They don't even put glass up. They put plywood on their windows."

Democrats should go on TV to say they need to impeach Trump because of the cocaine-fueled pedophilia parties that he holds in the East Room of the White House with his friends in MS-13.

I mean, if he gets to lie shamelessly, why not them?

This YA novel taught me a lot about Deaf culture: how ASL is its own language, how most Deaf people reject the idea they are broken/need fixing, how technology has complicated that. It was also an engaging story of 3 teens from different backgrounds seeking confidence, acceptance and love #booksky

This YA horror/thriller follows Mars, a gender fluid teen who always felt less than their twin sister, esp since she started spending all her time at an exclusive camp. When their sister dies attacking them - which their parents blame on a brain tumor - Mars is drawn into a sinister mystery #booksky

This has nothing to do with crime. This is an attempt to crush political dissent.

Never before, in our entire 250 year history, has the military or immigration agents been used like this. It's dystopian, illegal, and it should stop.

The picture of the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago pastor being pepper sprayed by a masked ICE agent reminded me of civil rights protestors in Birmingham being sprayed with high-pressure water hoses in the 60s.

It was wrong then, it's wrong now. How are we letting this happen?

BREAKING: Stephen Miller—both Trump Administration capo and de facto head of DHS, ICE, and DOJ, has just declared that peaceful protesters are "street terrorists." Under an executive order signed by Trump just days ago, that means he is saying that all protesters in America can be arrested on sight.

It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.

Letting the health care tax credits expire would devastate American families — and we’re making that crystal clear by giving you the data.

We’ve built graphics showing how much costs would rise in every GOP district.

Let’s start with Mike Johnson (R-LA):

Trump is going to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell.

They'll never release the Epstein Files because Trump is all over them.

Trump on pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell: Haven't heard the name in so long. I’ll take a look at it. I’ll speak to the DOJ. A lot of people have asked me for pardons.

Reporter: But she’s convicted of sex trafficking

Trump: I’ll have to take a look at it.

This is a breathtaking abuse of the law and power by the President of the United States.

America is on the brink of martial law.

Walked 13 miles today to raise money to fight cancer with the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. It was hot, I was sore, but being part of something full of joy, kindness and courage was a good antidote to this crazy world. The event raises millions yearly for treatment and research #JimmyFundWalk
I’m standing at the half-marathon start in Wellesley, MA, this morning A pretty spot along the route, which is the same one the Boston Marathon uses for its annual April race. A rainbow is caught over a small pond surrounded by trees Posing near the finish line of the walk in Boston Common The finish line on Boston Common, the city’s main park, is festooned with a balloon arch and lots of volunteers cheering on the walkers
