I agree with many of @smittermeier.bsky.social’s takes here on TLOAS. I like/love many of the songs, but for the first time ever I hate a Tay song (WishList). 😟 I’ve already talked about this at length in multiple threads this past weekend. But yes, the album felt rushed and the messaging was mixed.

Das ist so kaputt. Aktuell wird darüber verhandelt, ob beim 2. oder 3. Terminversäumnis vollsanktioniert werden soll? Das wird jene hart treffen, die ohnehin nix zu lachen haben: Depressionen, Phobien, Krankenhausaufentahlt, usw. Bis dagegen erfolgreich geklagt werden könnte, würden Jahre vergehen.

Rückmeldung kriegen sie auch, aber überwiegend auf Wunsch dann en detail - einfach auch aus Zeitgründen, dafür mehr vorab. Viele wollen ja doch auch nur noch einreichen um abzuschließen zB.
Literatur schaue ich halt an auf „sind das akademische Quellen? Kommen die aus unserem Fach?“ etc

Also ne Std brauch ich für ne Hausarbeit nicht zur Korrektur aber wenn man die Sprechstd und Emails zählt…. und wer rechnet dass denn überhaupt so? Dann würde ich bei 40 Arbeitstd die Woche irgendwie auch nur das machen oder zumindest manche Wochen

Und das geht bei Seminararbeiten los, die meisten prekär/befristet angestellten Kolleg*innen die ich kenne stecken da wesentlich mehr Zeit und Energie rein obwohl sie die nun auch wirklich nicht haben.
Und dann beschwert man sich wie schlecht die Studis sind.

Ja was halt tatsächlich gang und gäbe ist und da sind wir dann wieder bei systemischen Problemen die so imho zu wenig sichtbar sind: Betreuung hat einen niedrigen Stellenwert, weil irgendwo eine Form von Care Arbeit (auch schon bei BA, MA). Man kann als Prof da einfach gar nix leisten und es is ok.

Ich hab inzwischen auch einfach so viel mitbekommen was das angeht wo einfach maximal einmal im Jahr kurz gesprochen wird oder so dass ich schon froh bin wenns nicht gleich noch Machtmissbrauch ist.

4. Wie machen wir das in Zukunft mit ChatGPT und Konsorten? Die gibts für lau und plagiieren de facto, ist ein anderer Rechtsfall als ghostwriting aber genauso scheiße bzw halt vor allem viel nebulöser. Ich mag einfach nicht mehr so allgemein. Wissenschaft zerschießt sich komplett selbst.

3. Dass Sie dann einen ghostwriting Vertrag abschließt und dafür fast 17.000 Euro hat hält bei mir irgendwie das Mitleid in Grenzen? Und dann Geld für eine Klage? Also man kann natürlich Kohle haben und trotzdem so unter Druck stehen dass nichts mehr geht aber es ist wissentlicher Betrug.
