And also tell others when you like their work, tell them what you learned from them and the ways their work inspired you! Talk about this stuff openly share that positively and celebrate art for bloody sake!

People think we're asking for the world, when in reality, the majority of us just want a full-time job with a livable wage and healthcare. Unfortunately, that's become a premium request, especially these past few years.

Yup, and pivoting to other fields is hardly viable when applicants in those industries are also struggling. My focus hasn't even been on creative positions, and even with dozens of tailored resumes and cover letters, a decade of work experience outside of art, not a single call back in 7 mo.

A few more morning pics. That campanile(?) might as well be a sculpture. I like how the triangle and cross motifs dictate everything. The roof-wall was once exposed concrete until it started cracking and leaked (😔😞). It was clad in copperplates in 1999.
