I don't blame commissioners for accepting low price ranges as long as they are nice to their artist. The artist set a price, they might be undercharging, but that's the price they feel comfortable setting.If you have the money? Absolutely do B. If you need that price range, take it. They need you.

If you haven't watched miyazaki films....start. Especially if you want to create stories. Especially if you take inspiration for japanese culture. (Looking at you vtubers.) Those movies have some great examples of what good visual storytelling is.

Miyazaki survived the bombing of Utsunomiya as a child. His family escaped in a car, but left a neighbor and her daughter behind to save themselves. Miyazaki regrets this, and said this has stayed with him and shaped his film making. He hopes his audience will learn the courage he lacked in 1945.
