I don't usually write stories about tiny women. But when I do, I guess it doesn't end well. This time, anyway. It's mostly playful, and I explore a speculative situation, but CW: death.

The Miniature Wife is confirmed to be 10 episodes of 60 minutes, coming in 2026. A fan account on X has posted this, claiming it's a still from the show. No way to be sure so take it with a grain of salt. #sizesky #shrinkingwoman #theminiaturewife
Still from The Miniature Wife (allegedly), with a shrunken Elizabeth Banks held in Matthew Macfadyen's hand.

While a sweet potato parfait, pastry, or smoothie is not unappealing I don't honestly need 5+ Instagram reminders per day that Saint Marc cafe is selling them... 🙄

The Philadelphia Experiment was a 1984 film starring Michael Paré about a military experiment inadvertently causing time travel. In 2022 I asked @trentharlow.bsky.social
Trent Harlow to remake that iconic poster as "The Macrophilia Experiment"

Poster of a giant woman wearing a crop trop and black bikini bottom while holding a Predator unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in her left palm. "The Macrophilia Experiment" is written in large text along the bottom.

I cannot understand what these people think the purpose of human life is?

It is *not* "pursue joy, deal justly, love well, try to understand as much and see as much of this beautiful world and of the deepness, richness and variety of human culture and experience as you can before you die"?

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

Think we're of similar opinion, I would classify Star Wars as space fantasy vice "true" sci-fi. Although, Star Wars first aired when I was a toddler so I was all about Kenner's Star Wars toys.
Tend to prefer hard sci-fi so I lean towards Star Trek over Star Wars, but I've enjoyed both properties.

I did not! I know their last names are the same, but did they explicitly state they were related?

Unfortunately, I think the character Willard Decker has been overshadowed by the misdeeds of the actor, Stephen Collins, who played him.

Bit of a tangent, but I love ST:TMP.

Yes, it's slow. Yes, Kirk was incompetent and his ego almost killed everyone, but the setting and special effects were gorgeous!

Gives me a sense of awe 😮🤩

I had to draw something because it's such a great idea!

Also, this is how Malena is showing Luis the sizey ropes... Maybe these two will star in more sketches inspired by more microfictions in the future? Who knows!

#SizeSky #BlueSize #ChuckOC #ChuckDraugArt
A pencil sketch based on a microfiction by The Lillibrarian.
A cloaked thief (played by Malena, a slightly overweight woman) is holding a bottle full of some green liquid. She's delighted while looking at the bottle and a tiny figure in it. There's even a zoom-in showing that this little figure is an alchemist (played by Luis, a slim man with a pencil moustache) trying to stay afloat in the green concoction while he's shrinking (shown with flickering lines around him).
The thief speaks: "A shrinking solvent, huh? You alchemists sure come up with cool ideas. Thanks for inventing the perfect way to get rid of you... idiot."

Below this, Luis and Malena comment on the scene they've just starred in.
Luis says: "So... this is the kind of weird stuff you do. It's... cool. I've... enjoyed it."
Malena then says: "See? I knew you'd like it!"

Spoiler alert: It turned out that the monster was created by a human scientist whose unconscious thoughts were being materialized by alien machinery. Thus, it was not impossible that a giant woman could have appeared. All he had to do was think of her.

Forbidden Planet is a classic sci-fi from 1956. In one rather memorable scene an invisible monster attacks but is stopped by a force field which makes the monster visible. In 2022 I commissioned Pedro Barreto, creator of Bronze Skin Inc, to recreate the scene with a giantess.

Look, the President clearly has some kind of dementia, so I see no reason why this entire Administration shouldn't be messily devoured by an irritable six-hundred-foot-tall winemom.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

Dear Adobe Inc.,

I have never wanted an AI-powered summary, but especially not for a comic that is 13-pages long (inc. front cover, title page, and end page) and contains less than 400 words 🙄

Respectfully,

Some old art from when someone said Colette should dress up as a haunted house :p
An old book style black and white illustration of a woman stuck in a small house, or a large woman in a normal house...

Today's Halloween post is truly sizey and truly horrific. Not for the squeamish as death and blood abound. In 1984 Clive Barker published "In the Hills, the Cities" about a gay couple traveling Yugoslavia and encountering monstrous things...
