It’s been brought to my attention that Calgary-based trans advocate @theannamurphy.bsky.social has died. I am taking the liberty to share her obituary here.
The only thing I’ll add is: the Alberta U.C.P. and Danielle Smith murdered her, through hate and through anti-trans legislation.

Therapy isn't a solution, it's a process. In a way the same goes for transition. You have to engage with it purposefully, and in many cases run toward, sit with, & work through the pain instead of dramatically inflicting it on yourself to justify isolation. 4/4
