My exterior take on C&A's building. I decided to go with very low res bitmap of a 90s kodak photograph look. The higher res look of it with full textures is pretty nice. found an old pack of .TGA carboard cutouts of real people from the 90s. #TADC #3dmodeling #b3d #tadcfanart @gooseworx.bsky.social

@gooseworx.bsky.social I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the digital circus probably runs on a PS2 devkit just because of the silly admin room ceiling. If so, time to scour the depths of abandoned video game Dev hardware to find a copy of Renderware or something.

Gave it a try, Digit was an Idea I had that sounded like an interesting character but would likely remain just that. This was one of the design ideas, just a lot of concepts and shapes floating in the digital edge of reality, much like the edge of the universe. #TADCFriend

@adhdev.io @kommanderkarl.bsky.social @erikrobson.net you guys are the ones I've talked to most lately, I've been having this inkling of an idea, stemming mostly from the current job market, but the major issue would be financing it. Steve Jobs I am not, and it likely needs more workshopping.
I can program in ~10 computer languages.
~30 year career in computers.
Been on bleeding edge software for 4 industries.
Done everything from QA to PM to dev to leadership.
Most dev job interviews will stump me to this day.
Broken system, not looking forward to finding a job soonish.

Any @rockstargames.com #RockstarGames devs from the dev period of anything from 3-5 that worked on the world building or city modeling? I had some inquiries on that if it doesn't violate any sort of NDA. Just curious on how those processes worked beyond grid paper planning and white boxing.

I just bad the most hare-brained idea for texture storage and displaying it. I just need to work on a method or proof to get it to work. It should work in blender, I know that for certain.

@gooseworx.bsky.social I remember when my local Best Buy would play the Resonant Chamber Animusic video on their TVs.
Granted I remember it being like a giant jumbotron screen you could see from across the store, all stacked TVs linked up to make it, but I may be misremembering that.

Also got some wax figure people for fun because getting face references elsewhere except diy is expensive.
