If Big Balls ends up being the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of our descent into whatever this is… idk man, maybe that actually completely checks out for 2025 and where we are as a country

Good garden day today. We hosted our first garter snake, @naykrop.bsky.social saved a bee (and later maybe identified it as a moth), and the baby birds learned to fly

Apathy is going to take down the USA in one way or another
This is so funny. All you can hear is the squeaky wheels of cartoon tanks and everybody looks sad

Ever feel like travel sites are ripping you off? Here's some evidence. First screenshot is the price for a travel package after looking at options for an hour. Second screenshot is the same package, but I changed devices and turned off wifi. Fuck Expedia

I don’t know what this guy dreamed about but I never dreamed “what if a computer could generate me a picture of Garfield with tits”

Like the sci-fi dream was automation of labor while we enjoy lives of comfort and that is very obviously not what we’re fucking getting here

We saved a bumblebee this weekend! @naykrop.bsky.social saw it land in our plant trays, we leapt into action to get water and maple syrup water (it was faster than making sugar water), and after 5 minutes she was up and flew away 🐝

its so funny how economists will be like noooo its not fair china keeps reinvesting its wealth back into its economies instead of giving it all to like 20 guys, thats cheating 😭
What if we took money from rich people and invested it back into research and infrastructure and our companies to compete with China instead of slashing taxes and cutting funding. That would be crazy right

I'm a leftwing Canadian.

I've never, in my life, been represented by a government at any level that comes close to sharing my political beliefs. And you don't see me whining about it...

Ok, you do see me whining about it, constantly, but you don't see news orgs writing about me whining about it.

We rescued a dog last summer that was described as "feral", and it's fun to see her discover things that house dogs just know about.
Anyways, she's trying to learn about "pillows", and believe it or not, this is progress.
