🧵I am so so tired. My new place I moved into is riddled with pests. I have tried every preventative measure possible. My landlords are slumlords that taken advantage of my previous situation. They are rude and do not care of any of my grievances I have been airing to them for the past 3 months+

I need to pay this amount to start the transfer process. They REFUSE to lower my rent let alone cut the prices because all they care about it money. There are flies crawling through broken windows in my apartment causing an infestation. This has been ongoing for the past 3 months. I have been too stressed to sleep let alone be productive. It's been such a struggle. I just need help paying this and I can get started on the transfer process. I was promised a renovated unit and was given one that had broken windows and pest provlems

They have been doing nothing but trying to screw me over here and refuse to come fix any and every issue I have. I am tired and I want out. I will be moving to a different complex, within the company, and it will be much better.

We need to stand our ground and say no.

Besides, we tried extending olive branches to them since 2016. They snapped all of them and it got us here.

They don’t want peace. They want those they hate dead.

You save everyone or save no one. Either nobody is expendable or everyone is.

This isn’t a purity test, it’s basic human decency.

If they start throwing one group of people under the bus, they’ll throw others if asked to, because THOSE are the kind of people they want to appease.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.
