re: companies going all in on AI, I keep thinking about my husband's theory that these CEOs do 2 things at work: write emails & go to lunch. And they think AI will get rid of the emails part of their job.

Last year I ran a digital preservation workshop that I thought was a disaster (pitched it way too tech-y, tried to cram in too much) BUT today I got an email from someone who attended & who used what they learned to a) hire an archivist & b) start backing up to tape!
