There was a time when they insisted someone sit in the exit row to operate the exit door in an emergency, now to do so even when that seat had gone unsold is an offense on par with threatening to hijack the plane

This is absolutely wild. I’m on a cross country flight. We are being diverted midway through to Denver. The reason? Some dude is sitting in the exit row who didn’t pay the $155 fee and he refuses to move back to his seat.

It's hard to say which was the more successful pseudoscience grift in the last few decades before RFKjr, polygraphy or chiropractic. The latter made more money but the former got itself firmly embedded in both the criminal justice and intelligence communities and associated culture

The key divide in the Democratic Party during Trump II is between people who want to turn the clock back to 2014 and people who recognize a clean break with the past when they see one. "Let's get back to the way things were" isn't a viable vision for the future and some people have no other.
