Yes, HID headlights are very bright but the bigger problem is the proliferation of gargantuan vehicles with 5’+ hood heights so that if you’re driving a normal sized car their headlights are at your eye level rather than seat level like they’re supposed to be.

I just want to say, if you want to actually have accessibility & fun at an FF con, check out GATEway FATE. It was infinitely less expensive & as a disabled person, I never had the issues I had at Vegas Fan Fest. Just my 2 cents & I think worth your time & consideration. Also, no ticket lottery

I had a lot of concerns about ADA at Fan Fest next year. I was part of my deciding factors on whether to even go (a smaller part, but definitely a part). So far the issues are sounding WORSE than Vegas and I really invite you all to push back on this. It was really bad in so many ways in Vegas....

-People asking for disability accessibility need to have a phone call to prove their needs
-they then must agree to specific accessibility accommodations within 24 hours of a follow up email or schedule another full phone call.

I look like a chicken pox kid. I use this drying lotion stuff on acne sometimes and it looks exactly like calamine lotion. My face is just covered in drying lotion and some on my chest too... Why is this a side effect of a medicine. This is wild

LRP and most artists are full already. So if you see an open slot that will arrive for the holidays, GRAB IT IMMEDIATELY. And do realize that artists are in fact human and may get sick or not be able to finish on time for your deadline. They try so hard but life can fuck everything up for them too.
