yeah I heavily encourage people to do backups via tools like @atbackup.pages.dev , bsky.storage, or I use github.com/FiloSottile/...

and add a rotation key to your account (allows PDS migration under adversarial conditions) via atpairport.com (click on ticket booth and store key in a safe place)

Up until recently Bluesky would delete the whole account. That policy could be changing.
The sure-fire way for antagonistic migration would be to use something like bsky.storage for backups + have a recovery key in your did:plc (or use did:web)

for #2 only visible to folks using blacksky.community

- if the user were on bluesky PDS, would their recovery scenario be the same, or even possible?

- will the user be visible to bluesky API server users (the 99%), or only blacksky users?

bluesky decentralization in action:

- bluesky the corp bans a user
- user’s data is alive on their blacksky PDS, an indie server
- blacksky will deploy their own API server which will bring back the user to everyone else
- user keeps their data, identity, followers. nothing is lost

TL; DR
In the next 5 business days you should be able to go to Link's page on blacksky.community and see his posts and he'll be able to post but people using the bsky mobile apps won't see it.
After that we'll get Blacksky-only posts up.
After that we can talk about purging bsky mod tools

my #AppleMusic review in a nutshell:

- fantastic sound quality (better than spotify on carplay)
- terrible usability, lots of missing QoL features, friction, frustration. siri is zero help as usual
- unlike spotify, you can't remotely control the app on another device playing music, only airplay

More digging in my old BBC Micro and Acorn Electron development disks. This time I've finally managed to re-produce the workflow used to get the sprite editor working. My friend Paul Proctor used the Computer Concepts Graphics Extension ROM to create the sprites for the Electron version of Galaforce
