So you want Democrats to message… but you don’t want them to have the money to campaign or broadcast that message.

You do know that ads and mail and canvassing and offices and staff ALL COST MONEY, right?!?!!
amyandacat.bsky.social
What?!?! No, I want the democrats to stay on message right now. We're in a crisis - it's not the time for traditional fundraising social posts.

Never again let it be said that the NYT has no investigative reporters! They hired one & ALREADY found out that the Republicans contrnl the Senate!

Coming soon: Which party has control of the House! They're working on it & if they're spared, someday they'll find out!

Actually naming the relevant party rather than just saying “the Senate”? Is our Sulzbergers learning?
Trump's War Powers
Republican senators blocked an effort to bar President Trump from using military force against boats in the Caribbean Sea.

SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

I'm assuming it isn't AI - it's from Politico. According to the article, it's from an unedited version of a webinar she did with Jennifer Granholm.

A note: this should be grounds for subpoenas & public records requests for PMs from Truth Social (not that they will comply, but w/e)

That’s not having a bad day that’s showing her true colors.

And I know this because I saw her do the exact same thing at a Democratic potluck I was at.

For the record, @tonythurmond.bsky.social spoke after her and he has an answer for everything.

For those of you defending Katie Porter…

You know who she reminded me of? Trump.

She stopped herself from saying this, but she almost said I shouldn’t have to answer this question because I’m better than everyone else. Instead, she said “because I’m me” How do you defend that?

"two party system bad" is a brainworm that, if left untreated, will eventually metastasize into making you think a 37 party system, where 33 of them are some flavor of fascist, is still better because it's More Representation.

This is the SIXTH time they've done this.

Republicans are responsible for this shutdown.

They are blaming Biden for the 2020 Census.

Trump had been president for over 3 years at that time and was the president overseeing the census.
