A tight cohesive 40,000-word novel is way better than 80,000 words of bullshit. By all means, kill your darlings and trim fluff!

Story idea before I sleep: a young man has to move back to his hometown after his migraines become debilitating. After taking a security job's graveyard shift, a vampire picks him out as an easy target and turns him. Though the pain is gone, new problems arise. #vampire #writer #story
