An illustrated scene featuring Melinoë the enoki. A mortal obsessed with magic and the occult has finally managed to summon a demon. Mel walks around the dimly lit room - amused by all the objects and trinkets in this mortal's collection. She picks up a wolf skull and smiles at it. This mortal certainly did their homework. This artwork is a commission for Slithice Cultist. #Stasanie Danny & Ross commissioned this scene depicting a tender moment between their dragons - a pothos inspired dragon and a beetle inspired dragon. The larger dragon gently caresses her lady in waiting, putting weight on the leaf to draw her closer. Three deer are lined diagonally across the canvas. The first deer is a pale skeleton, the second a dark apparition with coiling smoke flowing from it's body, and the third is a translucent skeleton. The deer are linked by a strange smoke that flows through their eyes, and the tines of their antlers are interlocked. This drawing was inspired by Pneuma by Tool. A grey deer rears resplendent in a stained glass art style. The deer has 2 sets of wings and a stone forelimb. Her large, elk-like antlers are made of granite and have a layer of moss on them. The sword embedded in her chest draws the attention as a gleamed sun casts a heavenly glow behind it.

Really blown away by the love on my most recent artwork. I probably ventured into angles beyond my ability but I wanted to challenge myself. Seeing it well received makes me so happy. 😭💚

Digital art by tooth&branch. A great beast lurks in the lightless depths of the sea. Here it is met by a comparatively miniscule submarine which catches part of creature's coiling form. Emerging from the darkness above that is the beast's head; its blank eyes glow teal. Its mouth has opened just enough to reveal rows of needle-like teeth.

Pisces: Don’t forget the importance of self-care. Take the time to cook a healthy meal at home or relax with a glass of wine or build a ladder to the heavens and fight a god. You do you.

Author and filmmaker Justine Bateman on generative AI
"They're trying to convince people they can't do the things they've been doing easily for years - to write emails, to write a presentation. Your daughter wants you to make up a bedtime story about puppies - to write that for you." We will get to the point, she says with a grim laugh, "that you will essentially become just a skin bag of organs and bones, nothing else. You won't know anything and you will be told repeatedly that you can't do it, which is the opposite of what life has to offer. Capitulating all kinds of decisions like where to go on vacation, what to wear today, who to date, what to eat.
People are already doing this. You won't have to process grief, because you'll have uploaded photos and voice messages from your mother who just died, and then she can talk to you via AI video call every day. One of the ways it's going to destroy humans, long before there's a nuclear disaster, is going to be the emotional hollowing-out of people." - author and filmmaker Justine Bateman from a piece by Emine Saner for the Guardian
