Mo. Was brilliant last season, in part because defenders had to watch out for Trent. This season has seen less of the ball and done little with it. Afcon.. should we have waited until he went to figure out how to play without him on the left, when his contributions have dropped off?

Broad brush strokes. Shite at picking up second balls. I counted 5 headers won on Wed in 20 mins. Every one picked up by S'land. A key one today. Teams get through too easy. No one wants to take responsibility. Where's the leaders? And not taking chances.

It took Saint Jurgen 4 years and the addition of Salah and Mane to reach the peak. Two generational talents that took a few years to bed in at Liverpool. Perhaps we should cut Flo, Alex, Hugo and Arne some slack.

This was my view at the start of the season.
That's a lot of new players in for LFC. I don't expect the team to hit the ground running. There will be a new style of play. It will take time for players to get to work together, for the team to gel. This window hasn't just been about the coming season. It's more about the long term

We all have our own views about what's going on at #LFC but this article from Paul Cope sums up what I believe to be root cause. It will cause debate but the drop off is so big, so significant and so difficult to compute,it seems the most logical reason imo
