This is what they were sent to do. Sooner or later a whistleblower will come forward confirming the orders were given.
Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

If you have billions of $, having more isn’t more useful in acquiring shit. You can already do that. It’s about using that $ to control people. To dominate because having the money isn’t particularly satisfying.

Over four decades, the NRA et al softened the ground for the current authoritarian takeover. My hope is that their silence in the face of the government tyranny they screamed about for all those years will bankrupt them in the eyes of the public forever.
I want to point out that the NRA and other anti-government groups had been screaming about the threat of "obey or die" for decades. Yet now that we're here, crickets. That's because they were softening the ground for the present moment.
