A journalist inside Iran confirms, based on conversations with a Tehran hospital surgeon, that the number of protesters killed last night is significant. “I was in the operating room all night,” the surgeon said. “The number of protesters killed is higher than during the 12-day war.”

Trump, do it.

Such actions constitute an unacceptable encroachment on the sovereignty of an independent state, respect for which is a key principle of international law.”

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

A participant in the nonstop protest in Telavi, Georgia, was forced to sell his car due to financial hardship — his only source of income.

Fellow protesters from Kvemo Kartli stepped in. 51 people raised GEL 2,500 (≈ USD 900), bought the car back, and returned it to him.
