Stare into the depths of space with Hubble! At top- and bottom-center are two blue nearby stars. The enormous spiral galaxy UGC 11397 is 250 million light-years away. Many far more distant galaxies show up as orange and red dots. Credit: NASA, ESA. 🔭 🧪

A stellar nursery at its finest! 🔭

This is LHA120-N159 region in the LMC as seen by the JWST one year ago. It is home to MANY new born stars and many more to come!

I was in awe with how beautiful this region is while I was processing these data earlier this morning!

G.W. Bush calls Dick Cheney an “old breed” of politician defined by “character and substance,” which is dubious, but still reads as a dig.

For Scott Bessen, invading Venezuela is apparently a great idea because the US can seize their oil and flood international markets with it. This is the same idea that Dick Cheney advanced to justify the invasion of Iraq, another brilliant Republican foreign policy misadventure.
Bessent: "If something happens down in Venezuela, we could really see oil prices go down even more."

The appetite for weight-loss drugs has been insatiable since they hit the market a decade ago. As pharmaceutical firms elbow each other for a slice of the pie, the buffet of options will grow in 2026
A second helping of weight-loss drugs is coming
New versions of drugs like Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Zepbound, including pills, will be easier to take, more effective and longer lasting

SS7 is gonna remain a dumpster fire security threat and China will continue to exploit it if we can’t even have simple cybersecurity requirements for the telecom industry.
Breaking: The FCC has voted 2-1 along party lines to eliminate cybersecurity requirements for telecom companies that the commission adopted at the end of the Biden administration.

Telecoms had lobbied for the change. Democrats said it would invite another Salt Typhoon.

Story coming shortly.

Its near "super intelligence" "replacing professionals" in the PR rounds, then once everyone is convinced and uses them for legal and medical advice, following the deceptive marketing, they slip it in the terms of service that you shouldn't do that.
