Therefore, we should be allowed to enter as our relationship makes us very cishet, so we will not be considered transbians for the purposes of the competition. I will, however, be strangely enthused with growing breasts, that will not change. Thoughts?

Watching some of these movies about Deaf folks and shit in my ASL class fills me with a deep sense of sadness. We isolate the disabled and the Deaf so much in society, and god forbid your parents isolate you and try to mainstream you. It’s a very lonely experience.

The *really* fun bit is when you consider I’m recognized by one of the main Deaf colleges in the country as Deaf, and additionally recognized at the State & Federal level, but the district can’t be assed to provide reasonable accommodation.
Now, let’s consider the absurdity of this. As a student, I simply need some additional help with knowing what’s going on in the class. Like a note taker, or similar. Instead, this is going to cost the government so much more money. How’s that for government efficiency, eh?
So, fun fact. The local school district gets its money for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from federal funds, and they regularly refuse accommodations… but the state gets its money from the same place and will pay a literal shitload of money for an interpreter to follow me around at school
