I remember when there was a discussion on Twitter about Shein's manufacturing practices and some apologists invented all sorts of fantastical machinery and technology to avoid facing the more horrifying truth. Reminds me of this comedian's joke.

Maybe time to once and for all rid ourselves of any illusions about the American government. Keep talking when needed, be polite, be the adult in the room but never trust the Americans, and never ever rely on them for anything.

If you want to dress well this fall, imagine yourself as Big Jim Collie, a Scottish crofter in the 1970s who lived alone in a bothy and rode a rickety old bicycle through the Lairig Ghru, the highest mountain pass in the highest mountain range in Britain, while sustaining himself on a bit of dram.

Enjoyed a 'rice and three curries' meal at This and That Cafe in Manchester.

Cafeteria style serving, v basic interior, good value. Got v busy after opening. Read that it's been a hidden gem since opening in 1984.

Ukraine is a secondary topic for both Trump and Putin in Alaska. This is a mafia meeting arranged by war criminal Putin to restore Russia internationally & economically. Trump wants his "peace" glory and Putin used that to get this summit. But it's mainly about money for both of them, as always.
