Humans, animals, houses — all encased in #ash. We couldn’t believe our eyes. When we dug deeper, we discovered murals that still wore the vivid colours from a distant past, when garum flowed like lava.

Love these windows on an Edwardian Free Style City Improvement Trust warehouse in the Merchant City area of Glasgow. Built in 1899, it was designed by the architects John McKissack and Son.
