So I would recommend no one follow my stock picking advice, but I do have a winner. 2 months ago sold Russel 2000 and S&P 500 out of my 401k, Left a lot in cash, and bought a European Defense and Military ETF. It's up over 2% today. I'm still way down today, but some things worked.

So a good program gets killed to reduce govt spending to make way for tax cuts for the rich. Local schools lose money to buy from local small farmers. Small farmers are hurt, children will get more canned 'fruit cocktail' (or nothing) and big Ag wins and the rich win.
