This is insidious. The headline starts with blaming wildlife. The actual article makes it clear that is, at best, 25% of the overspend. And even that is disputed. So an accurate headline would highlight incompetence and poor planning.

I don't know what it's like in other states but in QLD we have some very ambiguous laws around leaving children 'unattended' when they're less than 12. It's not the intent but it sure seems like cops could nab you for letting your kids wander down to the park if they wanted to.

Am I the only person on the planet wondering why so many people have said they have the goods on Trump from the Epstein files, then it’s crickets? Virginia’s writer/editor said she had ‘the names’, Epstein’s brother is another example; Madge was going to spill the beans.
