Bit about me: I co-founded a company that runs tabletop rpgs for kids in California, New Mexico, and online. I used to hula hoop with fire but stopped because I had a near total spinal fusion surgery. I once shared a cigarette with Ian Mckellen. (Don't smoke kids)

I’ve got a joke about Cassandra but you probably don’t want to hear it.
I have a joke about Icarus, but it falls apart at the end.
I have a joke about Echo but you've probably heard it already.

Without saying your age, who was your first animated crush?

I have no idea what this says about me…But I used to love an episode where she or (her look-alike?) dressed in a sexy red dress. Couldn’t figure out why I was obsessed with it.

Everyone says to not stop doing art in times like these. I agree. But, I’m also so tired by the end of the day now that I go to bed at 8pm like my seven year old.

Social Media = bad for my brain
But also…
Social Media = necessary to be a business owner or author

Inside you are two wolves: One wants you to save money and get a Costco membership to ride out the enviable economic collapse and rise of fascism. The other wants retail therapy to cope with your fears of fascism and economic collapse.

Luckily I can't feed the second one because I ran out of $

If people often make jokes with “I’m just a bitch“ or “that’s just me, I’m an asshole.“ Believe them. Even if they are funny, stay away.
people over 30 quote this with some life advice for the rest of us?

😆 Like looking through my great grandmother’s recipes
ME: *writing in my journal with the sole aim of pissing off future historians and archaeologists* I returned to my home - which is built in the usual style - by the normal way, and prepared and ate dinner in the way I often but not always do

Simone Weil wrote “Imaginary evil is romantic and varied; real evil is gloomy, monotonous, barren, boring. Imaginary good is boring; real good is always new, marvelous, intoxicating.” I think about this truth a lot.

We canceled our Microsoft due to its AI assistant being incredibly hard to turn off. Google cannot be trusted to refrain from scraping our docs. Going back to Scrivener. It has issues saving to Dropbox, but I don't know how else to escape these "assistants" breathing down my neck

This is why I won’t watch Black Mirror even though everyone recommends it to me. In a different age, I’d be all over it.
I used to love reading dystopian fiction in high school.

Reaaaaally not enjoying living through dystopian reality as an adult.
