I have a few Joker rants:
1) He peaked in the late 80s when he killed Robin and injured Batgirl. There's no place to go after that.
2) He's not a stand-up comedian, he's an evil clown. Making him a failed stand-up comic dilutes a lot of his appeal.
3) Mark Hamill is the definitive Mister J.
