It's becoming apparent that #spycops were spending a lot of time living it up, partying with women they were deceiving into relationships then to cover their tracks writing fictional reports about the people in the group to justify their deployment.

The SDS was founded in 1968. The unit did not investigate any crimes, though it did instigate quite a few. There are probably still spycops in left wing organisations right now. The Special Demonstration Squad is a major reason why British public life is so right wing.
