@ramsandhoosiers.bsky.social Farm-To-Market roads are secondary/connecting highways originally planned for rural areas that had farms/ranches, so they could get their products to distribution centers or large towns. State Highways were for the larger cities. That’s pretty much the difference.

Indiana was the worst team in college football for 150 years and then they let you start paying players and they immediately became No. 1 and the only conclusion one can draw is they were the only ones who didn’t realize you could pay players under the table for the first 150 years.

@poseur.bsky.social Today reminds me of the 1969 LSU squad, who opted out because they were denied the chance to play in the Cotton Bowl because ND ironically chose to opt in that year. Now this becomes the first year since then that they have banned themselves.

We’re in the Texas Bowl vs. Houston on December 27. So both teams will essentially have a “Home Game”. (LSU’s Houston Alumni Chapter is the largest one in the nation outside of BTR and NOLA. Dallas Alumni Chapter is the next largest, so there will be a lot of fans there.)
