I've reviewed articles regarding the approval of Military Funeral Honors for Ashli Babbitt. Here, I explain the approval of a Full Military Funeral Honors for a veteran, why they do not apply in this case, and the importance of preserving this tradition's integrity.

Regarding Boasberg inquiry into potential contempt in JGG, petitioners ask govt to identify everyone involved in decision not to halt transfer of Venezuelans out of U.S. on 3/15. Their potential wish-list of witnesses includes Drew Ensign & Emil Bove.

NEW: DOJ posted the exhibits involved in the Chicago protesters/press case, including Gregory Bovino's deposition.

He is a real charmer (before they even got to the substance of the case)!

“This case presents the unique, if not unprecedented, situation where an unconstitutionally appointed prosecutor, exercising ‘power [she] did not lawfully possess,’ acted alone in conducting a grand jury proceeding & securing an indictment,” Judge Currie wrote about the Comey & James cases.

I know that sometimes my Civ Pro dorkdom comes out in these moments, but this is lowkey HILARIOUS to me. These Evil Twerps can't even read the Local Rules when they're trying to get children's medical info from a hospital as part of their anti-trans tirade. Sorry. You lose!
UPDATE: Another judge just dinged DOJ in another trans care subpoena case, with Judge Joun finding that DOJ missed a deadline, and, accordingly, their motion to alter the judgment in the Boston Children's Hospital case was "untimely." And, because DOJ also appealed, Joun has no further jurisdiction.

Seeing OLC’s “Murder Memo” would be interesting in the context of the debate over lawful orders.
The Trump Admin has conducted 21 unauthorized military strikes in the Caribbean & East Pacific—killing 83 people—without giving Americans a full explanation. I’m leading my colleagues in demanding the declassification & public release of documents justifying these airstrikes.

Sen. Kelly responds: "If this is meant to intimidate me and other members of Congress from doing our jobs and holding this administration accountable, it won't work. I've given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies who care more about their own power than protecting the Constitution."
Breaking:

Just days after Sen. Mark Kelly participated in a video asking service members to ‘refuse illegal orders,' the Pentagon now says it's opening an investigation into Kelly for "serious allegations of misconduct."

FWIW, a court reporter's account, submitted *by the govt* on 11/19 in the Comey case--before it switched positions on 11/20—shows that the full grand jury could not possibly have approved the operational 2-count indictment.
The jury was "released" when deliberations ended.

In Aug., Govt said if Abrego pled guilty he could go to Costa Rica, where he's okay with going. Abrego said no to plea. Govt now wants to send him to Liberia. Why not Costa Rica? Govt told judge Thurs that Costa Rica wouldn’t take him anymore. @mariasacchetti exposed them.
Costa Rica will accept Abrego, per @washingtonpost.com .
If true, DOJ, DHS, and Dept of State caused lies to be disseminated to Judge Xinis all day Thursday, where an ICE official testified about info sent him by Dept of State, claiming Costa Rica wouldn't take Abrego.

Sorry to interrupt the football, but Kilmar Abrego Garcia has filed additional information claiming the feds misrepresented Costa Rica's position on accepting Abrego Garcia.
