"With Ukraine and Iran last year—and Venezuela now—President Trump has fully embraced a doctrine that starts with derogatory statements, continues with threats, and ends with strikes and coercion." writes @francoisdm.bsky.social in a new opinion piece.
Trump goes rogue against Venezuela and lays out his imperialistic goals
The Trump administration doesn't fight drugs in Venezuela. It tries to lay the groundwork for an imperialist America.

Worth noting that the only people being violent and rioting are CBP and ICE.
Or ... or you'll ... shoot the babies?

DHS I don't know if you were all absent on training day but you can't shoot babies even if you don't like their parents. There is nothing that can be happening with a baby that makes it ok to shoot babies.

In the Inferno, Dante claims that a human being can commit a sin so grievous that their soul is immediately pulled down to the deepest layer of hell, & a demon takes control of their body until they die.

That’s what happens to every ICE agent when they sign their contract. There’s no soul left.

The brutality of state force is in the streets, it’s on video, and it’s being defended at the highest levels of government. If we do not act now with united, powerful resistance, the normalization of militarized state power will become irreversible.

I disagree with the suggestion in the NYT story today that rule of law is not working to stop Trump

Yes the "Trump judges" have been disproportionately bad, but the overall win rate of over 60% or >320 wins is still EXTRAORDINARY

And the wins in the most important areas have been even bigger👇
