It's almost like being fabulously rich doesn't make you happy or well adjusted. It's almost like it makes you sad and lonely. And leaves you forever casting about for scapegoats to offset your deep self-loathing. Thank you Jim Ratcliffe and Elon Musk for these important life lessons.

Then and now the focus on individuals - Peter Mandelson and Michelle Mone - diverts attention from the real point. Our institutions, which should protect the public, just nod along with what is a kind of theft by the privileged. No one goes to prison, no one is ever held accountable.

Saw a meme today of some guy saying “The planet Earth is a resort for about 500 very rich people; the rest of us are just staff”…
Thought it over and realised it’s worse than that: MOST of us are staff.
The most vulnerable and helpless of us are the buffet.

I don't and have never used Tik Tok but this is reason enough to stop if you do.
🚨This is the new TikTok Privacy Policy I found on Reddit. Read it & pass this on. Looks like they can pull from USER CONTENT race, religious beliefs, mental/physical health diagnosis, sex life, status as transgender, citizenship/immigration status & more personal info.

The UK was better off in the EU and Europe was better off with the UK in it.

All of this Trump driven chaos underlines that and you can practically hear Putin rubbing his hands in Moscow.

WE have deliberately weakened ourselves, our security and our region for absolutely no good purpose at all.

‘Defecting to the reform party’ is a polite euphemism for telling guests at a dinner party that you need to go for a poo.

“I’d love to hear all about your holiday in Sardinia but first I just need to defect to the reform party”
