So, I picked up the 5e 24 PHB and DMG, and so far, I gotta say, I love how these books are organized. Most of the rules changes I'm pretty "meh" about, but I'm really not sure I like that your background decides your attribute bonuses. I'm not against Power Gaming, but this seems designed for it.

OpenAI probably took a page from another Google Research paper

Instead of outputting an answer directly, o3 is generating a gigantic rationale of tokens

Given a prompt, the autoregressive process completes it in a structured way like:

Prompt, rationale, answer.

Evergreen tweet: “Everyday I come across more examples of an internet that is increasingly untethered from reality, a hyperreality of interchangeable signs and simulated facts made to fit any world view”

A good insider account, but it still doesn't quite answer why Aleppo fell so quickly. I would venture Turkey had a role in convincing Syrian generals to abandon the city, which catalyzed the collapse of the regime.
Deception and Betrayal: Inside the Final Days of the Assad Regime
President Bashar al-Assad, who wielded fear and force over Syria for more than two decades, fled the country under the cover of night — and a fake political address.

Generally, I am going to try not to post my politics but I have two little girls, my wife was an immigrant, I'm an ex-teacher, we just left Texas, and I think that's probably enough to play political Guess Who.

I'm replaying Dragon Age Origins right now, and I am going to re-iterate an unpopular opinion I have about this game:
I cannot stand Morrigan. She's not funny, or teasing, she's mean. She thinks she's better than everyone, and you lose approval for doing almost every side quest. Can't stand her.
