Loved the book but The Thursday Murder Club film is absolutely terrible. Richard Osman must be mortified. Pierce Brosnan totally wrong for Ron. Richard E Grant playing panto villain, just awful. Clearly directed by an American who’s never been to the UK. Too cheesy!

Reform has lost 11 councillors and 2 MPs in a matter of months… and when I say ‘lost’ I mean, they’ve quit following rows, impropriety or inability to do their jobs.
